You plug it into the wii console much better then the wireless .

i dont need endless supplies of batteries

wireless .... wow lota of money in batteries and so ive ordered two more sensor ...

I have cats that eat the cord !!!

My cat chewed my Wii sensor bar almost immediately after my buying the Wii.  I bought a "wireless" and it was okay, but I couldn't keep it in working batteries!  It ATE them up.  My new wired bar works well and I've tied up the surplus wire so the cat can't get it!  My order came quickly and there were no problems.
