Just simple fun September 20, 2011
Reviewer: E. Gocong "EAG" from Oahu, HI
Wii are just two, in our mid 40's, 7-5er's and we are not couch potatoes, we golf on the wkends, wii ride our bikes around the island, and he loves to hit the waves, but wii find the Wii so relaxing, so much fun, and at times a bit addicting, as wii are so competive. Our friends love to come over to play and also lean towards being competive. The games with the new motion enhancer are more challenging, and the variety is very nice. Wii think it was a great price, and have purchased the game and the Wii set up as a Santa gift for one of our friends...then they can all go to their house once in awhile.

The only group game you need September 18, 2011
Reviewer: M. Epperson "Red" from Springfield, MO
There are lots of attempts to make group games for the wii. Some are fun, most are a waste of money as they are too difficult or tedious. This game is perfect. It has plenty of originality, variation, and simple fun! And it is just as fun one player as a group. Most importantly, the wii motion accessory makes the control ALMOST perfect. My only complaints are with basketball, which is unintuitive and odd, the controls in frisbee, which is fun but hard to control, and the water sports games, which are either too complicated or two annoying for the most part. Those three problems are only about 10% of the whole game. Otherwise, two thumbs up.

Love the game! September 16, 2011
Reviewer: S. Lewis "the observer" from New Haven, Ct.
The Wii Sports Resort is a fun game even if you're just playing alone. I didn't think I would enjoy the many games it offers! I would recommend everyone owning this!

good for casual and competetive gamer September 13, 2011
Reviewer: Radio
I bought this for my sister for Christmas and she loves it, in fact, so does everyone who plays it. Just make sure you pick up at least 1 extra Wii motion plus sensor for the two player stuff. Anyone who loved Wii sports will love it's sequel even more.

Great Games! August 27, 2011
Reviewer: M. Fisher from Florida
My teenage son had played this (rented)game and loved it. He was insistant about it being on his Christmas list. The second specialized controller is necessary for 2 players. It is a wonderful disc with many game options, and his sister and Dad laughed uproariously competing against him in some of the races. I highly recommend it.

Best Wii game to date August 26, 2011
Reviewer: Matthew M. Sanchez from durham, nc
Well I purchased the Wii in mid-2008 with the hopes that it would be a great activity for the whole family, needless to say it didn't work out that way and we're spent most of our time using the Xbox 360. Well, that is, until I got this for Christmas. This is the first Wii game that my sons have really enjoyed; it's a great balance of fun, challenge, skill development, and variety. We particularly like the Frisbee, swordplay and bowling games, but have also enjoyed sky diving and canoeing. The great thing about the variety of games is that each one of us has a particular skill set that works best for certain games; in other words, each of us is particularly good at a particular game, thus no one comes away without having had a winning experience. I know the whole point is to have fun, but it can be discouraging to a child to never come out on top; with the Wii sports resort that's not a problem. Overall, I think this a great game for families with children and highly recommend it.

Addicted August 15, 2011
Reviewer: A. V. Williams "bookworm2222"
Sports Resort is addictive. Features about 12 games - swordplay, frizbee, jet ski, water surfing, sky diving, cycling, basketball shooting, table tennis, golf, bowling and a couple other which escapes my memory at the moment. They'll good fun and most have a couple options, for example the swordplay features duel (one-on-one challenge - best of three), quick slice (one-on-one who slices in the correct direction the fastest - win ten to win the game) and showdown (single player challenge - take on the other Miis take three hits = game over).
Its all fun whether you play on your own or challenge a friend or two.

Great Addition to our Game Collection, August 12, 2011
Reviewer: G. McKenzie from Allentown, PA
Wii Sports Resort is a great addition to our Wii Games. I'm selective at which games I buy because my kids lose interest fast. Games with variety are the best in our house. My son (7) loves the sword fighting and watersports. My daughter (10) likes archery, frisbee, and one of the airplane games. My husband - an advid hunter - likes the archery. There is something for everyone. It was a good mid-Summer addition to our routine. It changed things up and got the kids off the couch. Worth the investment. I would recommend!
