Loved it. May 17, 2013

I was skeptical at first. After reading all the reviews, I wasn't sure if I should get the game or not. So, after waiting a long time, I finally decided to buy it. Best thing I ever did! I cannot get enough of it. Some complaints were the fact that they're singing with you. Yeah, they are. Of course they are or else it wouldn't be "Glee Karaoke."
I just wish there was more songs because I CANNOT get enough (I can't stress that as much as I would like to). I will definitely be buying the next Glee Karaoke very soon. I was hoping for "Bohemian Rhapsody" to be on one of them. Regardless, the game is still fun. There's plenty of songs to sing! This is coming from a Glee fan.

Serious Set-Up Issues March 20, 2013
Reviewer: Doxie
So, if you're like half the country and you put all your electrical componants in the closet and run the wires through the wall, good luck getting this game to work. The mic is on a cord. I thought the point of a Wii was no wires (turns out it's not). I bought a super-long USB extension cord but the mic refuses to work unless directly plugged into the Wii. No company makes a compatable wireless mic. So, now we are having to hire our audio/visual guy to come back out and run the mic wire through the wall..meaning I will have a random mic coming out of the back of my flatscreen hanging on the wall which I will have to hide by hooking it to the back of the TV somehow. I really want this game so I'm determined to make it work but GEEZ! Couldn't someone at Komachi or Nintendo have thought if this issue beforehand? A lesser Glee fan would have given up when they opened it and saw the cord on the mic. So, buyer beware!

It's fun but just okay March 10, 2013

I was really excited to try this game when it came out, and I'm happy with it...not ecstatic, but happy. I've since read all the reviews and I agree with most of the things that were said. The biggest comment I noticed was about the lead vocals and how they can't be turned off. While it's true that doesn't make it a "karaoke" game, I still like it. It's fun to sing along with the main characters because I'm such a "gleek." I haven't had it long, but I can see where the songs might get a little old. I like several of them now and I don't play very often, so it doesn't bother me...yet. I also agree the game is rather expensive for number of songs and no download capability of new songs. I'm preordering Glee 2 and I'm hoping some improvements have been made since they did seem to rush the first game to production. All in all I still think it's a very fun game. My young granddaughters (9, 7, and 5)don't care if they sing the same songs over and over and that the Glee cast sings with them. I do think it deserves at least 3 stars. I would give it more if it had download capability.

Hardcore GleeKs March 9, 2013
Reviewer: O. Rodriguez "Andres"
I'm a hardcore Gleek so I LOOVE this game. I don't even really care that it's sing-along, I know most of the songs so I just love singing along. Things that I loooved about this game: There are unreleased performances! The box only advertises an exclusive performance of "Can't Fight This Feeling" but there are 2 more: I Say A Little Prayer and Taking Chances. The fact that I didn't have to do the scrapbook mode and beat all the songs in order to quickplay is great especially, if you had just gotten the game and you're having a party. You can just play any song and it doesn't matter if you have beaten it in scrapbook mode. Things I didn't like NOT ENOUGH SONGS! Song selection- 3 of them are rap songs which aren’t really singing. The scrapbook mode- I just really don't see the point of it if you have quickplay. Overall, since I am a hardcore Gleek I'm in love with this game. Ever since I got it, I just keep playing it over and over. I recommend for hardcore Gleeks to get this game!
