I like the fact that I do not have to take the batteries out to charge it.  The only thing is the plastic sleeve have to come off in order for the remote to sit properly while charging.  It's not a big deal but my kids have problems getting it off & on.  Other than that it's easy to use.

Worth every penny.  I bought the 2 player party bundle for Christmas, should have bought the charger at the same time.  Ended up using the $10 coupon for this and a game.  Like the person below said, you do need this.  They should really include it in every bundle or let you know that you need it in the bundle description.

You need this!  I thought I would save myself the money because I have a drawer full of batteries.  Wrong!  If your kids play as often as mine this thing eats batteries.  Came back and bought this charger a month later and now I have to pay for shipping. : (

This Wii battery charger console is a money-saver to keep from having to replace the batteries so often. You don't have to worry about the individual batteries getting lost or the kids taking the batteries and using on another item. The battery packs just clip on the back of the Wii controller, which is handy. We've only used this about a month, but it's been good so far.
