New Dance Games

There are five new dance games coming out in 2012, continuing the tradition of great dance games for the Nintendo Wii. Read about the games that are sure to be among the hottest games this Holiday season.

Just Dance 4 (Due out October 9, 2012)

The latest major release in the popular Just Dance series, Just Dance 4 will feature more than 40 new songs, from the latest hits to old favorites. The game will also reportedly improve on the Just Sweat Mode that was featured in previous games, which allowed players to measure the calories they burn while dancing as well as creating goals for their dance sessions. Just Dance 4 will also contain a brand new way to play in Battle Mode, where two dancers from two different songs dance against each other.

Just Dance: Greatest Hits

In addition to Just Dance 4, Just Dance: Greatest Hits was released in June 2012. The game contains 35 songs from four previous Just Dance games, with most of the songs coming from Just Dance and Just Dance 2 and several tracks coming from Just Dance Summer Party and Just Dance 3. If you missed any of the other Just Dance games, pick up Just Dance: Greatest Hits and dance to some of the best songs out there.

Zumba Fitness Core (Due out October 30, 2012)

The hottest fitness program in the world returns to your living room in Zumba Fitness Core. The latest installment in the Zumba Fitness series, Zumba Fitness Core includes more than 40 songs and plenty of great features, including multiplayer, tutorials for beginners, calorie tracking and improved graphics. Unlike the previous two Zumba releases, this latest game will put a major focus on improving and toning the abdomen and core, so players can get the abs they've always wanted while doing their favorite aerobic dance activity.

Just Dance: Disney Party (Due out October 2012)

Get ready for a dance game that the whole family can enjoy. Just Dance: Disney Party is packed with 25 songs from classic Disney movies and hit Disney Channel shows, so there is something for kids as well as adults. With kid-friendly gameplay and easy-to-learn choreography, Just Dance: Disney Party is perfect for family and friends.

Let's Dance (Released July 13, 2012)

Former Spice Girl Mel B takes you through the latest dance game for the Wii: Let's Dance. Players learn cool new moves from the pop star herself as they dance to 28 hit songs from artist like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and the Pussycat Dolls. Styles range from pop to the '80s, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.
