Wii Fit Training Plus
What is Training Plus? Training Plus is a workout. Training Plus is smiles and games. It's a combination of activities and amusement, entertainment and energy, fitness and fun. The idea is to make it even more appealing to do your aerobics, balance and cardio workouts because you'll feel great and you'll have fun doing it. On Wii Fit Plus, there are 15 Training Plus workouts for you to explore, experience and enjoy.
Training Plus is one of five different workout programs in Wii Fit Plus, with the others being Aerobics, Strength Training, Yoga and Balance. Training Plus activities are mini games that are more focused on entertainment and fun and less on the traditional workout, so players forget they are even working out.
Wii Fit Training Plus Features
- Exercise while still having fun: Combining games and exploration with your exercise, Wii Fit Plus turns your mundane workout into something better.
- Full customization: Wii Fit Plus will help you select a fitness level you're trying to obtain, and works around your schedule to create a workout routine to get you there.
- Don't neglect your mind: Stimulate your mind as well as your body, with activities that require observation, logic and basic math to keep your brain in top shape.
- Anybody can play: All Training Plus games on Wii Fit Plus require only basic balance and simple body movements, so ANYBODY can play.
Aerobics made fun
Training Plus provides three different activities to make aerobic exercise fun. Move your feet to make it through the Obstacle Course, ride a bike in Island Cycling, or job through intriguing scenery in Basic Run Plus. Each of these games have a game or visual element built into them, keeping your mind off working out and putting the focus on the activity. You'll want to do the best you can so you can complete the course or set a new personal best time for a race.
Stimulate your mind as well as your body
Training Plus isn't just about exercising your body. Wii Fit Plus has integrated mental stimulation activities into some of their Training Plus activities so you can sharpen your mind as well. In Perfect 10, you have to thing fast and tilt your body, adding and subtracting numbers to equal 10. It's a fun mixture of game, exercise, and mental test. And pay attention during your jog in Basic Run Plus, because there will be a challenge at the end to test how well you paid attention to your surroundings.
Get fit to the rhythm
Load up Rhythm Kung Fu and Rhythm Parade and you'll lose yourself in the beat instead of concentrating on your heart rate. These games are timing-based rhythm activities that test your ability to move with the beat and perform simple movements. That means marching to the drum as the leader of a parade, or throwing small punches in a Kung Fu troupe.
Maintain your balance and coordination
The majority of the Training Plus activities revolve around balance and coordination. You will make small balance adjustments on the Wii Balance Board to control a skateboard, peek out and throw a snowball, and juggle balls on top of a... bigger ball. You'll tilt a table, direct your Segway vehicle around a track, swing a golf club, and even fly through the sky as a bird.
With Training Plus on Wii Fit, exercise is finally fun.
