Nintendo Land Game - Wii U

A Nintendo Theme Park in a Game

Explore a dozen Nintendo game worlds, lovingly recreated as unique attractions within the Nintendo Land Plaza. What "Sports" was to the Wii "Nintendo Land" is to the Wii U. Packed with family and solo games that are simple, easy, and fun. Pick up the GamePad or a Wii Remote and get right into the action. The familiar controls and intuitive gameplay make Nintendo Land a great choice for parties with family and friends or an individual immersive gaming experience.

Attractions are broken up into three types:

Team Attractions: One to five players work together or compete in an array of challenges.
Competitive Attractions: Two to five players compete for victory on unique play fields.
Solo Attractions: A single player tackles unique challenges that utilize the Wii U GamePad.

Attractions
Mario Chase Game A team of Mii Characters play as toad looking to tag Mario in Mario Chase. Up to five friends participate in a whole new take on hide-and-seek/tag. The GamePad player sees everything and tries to run away while the others using their limited map must team up to find the elusive Mario.
Luigi's Ghost Mansion Game In the Luigi's Ghost Mansion attraction, up to four friends use their Wii Remotes to navigate a dark and spooky maze. They have to shine their flashlights when they feel something near, hoping to uncover an invisible ghost controlled by the player with the GamePad! Four-on-one isn't fair, but the GamePad player has an advantage - the built-in screen lets him/her see the entire level without any restrictions, so they can sneak up on their friends and make them faint.
F-Zero Game Captain Falcon's Twister Race With one player,Your Wii U GamePad becomes a racing machine as you maneuver through a futuristic racetrack inspired by the classic F-Zero game! Balance steering and speed to finish in record time.
The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest Game The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest lets up to four friends team up against an army of enemies. Three players use their Wii Remotes to control their swords and fight on the front line and the GamePad player backs them up by firing arrows at enemies from a distance.
Metroid Blast Game Take fight into space with Metroid Blast! Based on the Metroid video game series, up to three friends can play together against each other in a fun laser tag-style battle, or even team up to explore alien worlds and stop waves of robotic enemies.
Pikmin Adventure Game Pikmin Adventure lets up to five friends team up in the Pikmin universe. For the first time in a Pikmin game, players with Wii Remotes can actually play as a Pikmin character, while the GamePad player takes control of Captain Olimar and commands the troops to solve puzzles and beat the level.
Animal Crossing: Sweet Day Game In Animal Crossing: Sweet Day, the GamePad player takes control of two guard Miis to protect a grove of candy trees, controlling one guard with the left analog stick and another with the right. Four friends on their Wii Remotes are trying to shake the trees and eat all the falling candy. It's up to the guards to tackle them and stop their sweet thievery.
Donkey Kong's Crash Course Game Pick up the GamePad controller and get retro in Donkey Kong's Crash Course. One player, using the motion controls of the GamePad, tilts a trolley through a course that will remind players of the original Donkey Kong arcade game.
Balloon Trip Breeze Game In Balloon Trip Breeze, one player, using a GamePad controller uses their stylus and the GamePad's touch screen to blow gusts of wind to carry their Mii Character through the level's obstacles. Dodge spiked obstacles and floating foes to get to your island goal.

Play in familiar Nintendo worlds. Built around familiar franchises such as Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong, Nintendo Land features 12 different games built into the park as "attractions." Get up to four of your friends and play games like never before, in an immersive multiplayer style that offers a different experience for the player using the Wii U's GamePad. And just like with Wii Sports on the original Wii console, Nintendo Land's fun and engaging attractions will teach you all about the new GamePad controller.

Interact like never before. The Wii U's Miiverse offers players in Nintendo Land an opportunity to communicate and express themselves to one another. Send your friends a message or share your latest successes in a safe social environment.

Great game for the whole family. January 12, 2013

I wasn't expecting too much from this game. I bought the black Wii U to get the extra storage and controller dock. However, the included Nintendo Land game has become our family's favorite. Currently, it is probably getting 80%-90% of the overall game time for the system.

This game certainly is plenty of fun, specifically when playing 2+ players. There is a lot to do, plenty of mini games, achievements and things to unlock.

Loads of fun? Check! January 3, 2013

Nintendo Land comes free with the deluxe edition. The catch is the Deluxe is $50 more than the basic. I got a deluxe edition for Christmas but no other games except this. I anticipated a fun game to hold me off to others came along. I was wrong. This game is more challenging and has a lot of stuff to try for. The game is about you going along this area that is Nintendo Land. You have a little robot named Monita that gives you tips and helps you. Your job is...to have fun! Inside Nintendo Land there are 12 attractions that you can play in. These range from shooters to puzzles. When you play the games you earn coins these coins can be used in this game where you can win prizes. These prizes do nothing except make Nintendo Land look more crowded. No purpose except for "oh that's cool!" This is a very great game. If you only got the basic and like party games buy this now!
