Remotes must be Sync'd prior to use. If the remote came in the console box then it is already Sync'd to your console but each additional remote will need to go through this process.
Open the front panel of the Wii console and press the red "Sync" button.
Remove the battery cover on the Wii Remote, and press the red "Sync" button located just below the battery. (see "Quick Setup" pamphlet in console for additional details)
Note: You may have to repeat the steps a few times for the remote to Sync. Each additional remote you add will have a slightly weaker connection to the system and may occasionally require you to re-Sync.
Place the Charge station on a secure, flat surface.
Connect the power input plus (included) into the DC input port located on the back of the Wii Console. Connect the Charge Cable to the input power port located on the back of the charge station.
Connect the other end of the charge cable into the USB port of the Wii Console or any available USB port in your PC or MAC computer.
Turn the Wii Console ON by pressing the power button.
Turn ON/OFF the power to the Charge Station by using the switch located on the back.
INSERTING BATTERY PACK INTO WII REMOTE
Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote and insert the remote rechargeable battery pack into the Remote.
Using the battery pack cover, align and insert the locating tabs on the top cover with the locating slots on the top of the battery compartment.
Press the battery pack down on the battery compartment until the locking tab snaps securely in position.
CHARGING THE WII REMOTE RECHARGEABLE PATTERY PACKS
The Rechareable battery packs for the Wii Remote must be fully charged prior to use. Place up to two Wii Remotes with the rechargeable battery packs into the cradles on the Charge Station. Make sure the charging contacts located on the back of the Wii Remote make full contact with the charging prongs on the charge station.
The status LEDs located inside the Wii Remotes cradles will illuminate RED indicating the batteries are being charged. The status LEDs will turn SOLID BLUE once the batteries are fully charged. Refer to the table below for charge times.
