The actual 'mechanics' of the gameplay in this are fairly lame, not that I could necessarily think of a 'good' way to orchestrate it. But, if you're into 'Deadliest Catch', the game is cool. You get to interact somewhat with the other captains from the show. There's even a feature where you can watch the tribute to Captain Phil Harris, as on a DVD, which is cool if you liked Captain Phil. I have found it very difficult, though, to keep up with the other boats over the course of a 'season'. Last time I played, I think I was starting to get the idea, though. I wasn't letting the pots soak long enough before pulling them back up, and I wasn't making much $. I think I'll have better luck next time I play it. Again, though - if you like the show 'Deadliest Catch', you'll probably enjoy the game. If you don't watch the show, don't bother...it doesn't have that much to the gameplay to enjoy in and of itself.
