The Wii Console system supports up to 4 players. Many games let 4 players play at one time including New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart, Sports Resort, Wii Sports and Nintendo Land Wii U and Super Mario Bros. U - Wii U. Each player needs a controller to play simultaneously. All Wii games require a Wii Remote to play and many require both a Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
